Artwork Guidelines
Color Mode

Work exclusively in CMYK color mode. Crutch Cards will convert any Spot Color or RGB images to CMYK

Crutch Cards is not responsible for any color shift in graphics converted to CMYK from another mode.
Image Resolution

All artwork, designs, and images must be provided between 300-350 PPI.

We are not responsible for images that print fuzzy, distorted, or pixilated due to customer‑supplied low‑resolution or RGB artwork.
Layout, Bleeds & Safe Zones

Keep all essential type and design elements at least 0.15" inside the trim edge.

Extend all artwork that is intended to bleed at least 0.06" beyond the trim edge to avoid unwanted white borders after cutting.

Ensure artwork is centered on each crutch using the guides in the template.
Fonts & Text Handling

For vector artwork created in Illustrator or InDesign, outline fonts before saving.
File Preparation & File Formats

Embed linked images in your file.

For raster artwork file created in Photoshop, flatten all layers.

Design in the artwork layer and delete all guides in the template.

Submit print‑ready artwork as .ai .pdf .tiff or .eps file format.

Files submitted in other formats may not print correctly and are used at your own risk.
Proofing & Responsibility

Proofread all files carefully before submitting to Crutch Cards.

Our pre‑press team review all files, but you are 100 % responsible for the accuracy of your print‑ready artwork.
